Big Sipz Seeks Declaratory Judgment in Dispute With BuzzBallz

MPL Brands NV Inc., which markets the single-serve cocktail Big Sipz, asked a federal court for a declaratory judgment saying that its container doesn’t infringe BuzzBallz LLC’s patent for its single-serve cocktail containers.

BuzzBallz filed a patent infringement suit against MPL, which does business under the name Patco Brands, in the US District Court for the Western District of Texas in September 2023. But MPL’s complaint, filed March 1 in the US District Court for the Northern District of California, says that BuzzBallz’s claims are unfounded.
