The software at issue was previously licensed to Atos—which uses it to operate some of CNA’s applications—from IBM. HCL alleged that after it acquired the rights to the software, Atos has failed to work with the company or pay for its continued use of the software. CNA has also refused to cooperate and provide information on its use of the software, HCL claimed.
