Appeals Court Rejects Bias, Retaliation Claims Against Nucor

Two Black former employees at Nucor Corp. failed to convince a federal appeals court to revive their lawsuit alleging they faced retaliation and a racially hostile work environment.

The lower court properly concluded that Rod Warren and Eric Booker failed to establish the existence of genuine disputes of material fact in support of their claims, the US Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit ruled Tuesday in affirming summary judgment for the steel manufacturer.
