A Black former product manager agreed to drop allegations that Aon Advantage Funds LLC used her image to falsely portray diversity in the company’s leadership.
The parties filed a stipulation to dismiss the case with prejudice on Thursday in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York. Juliet Njeru sued Aon and its parent company last January, alleging it used her image in marketing materials and presentations to potential clients that portrayed her as a vice president of portfolio strategy.
