Anonymous Messaging App Escapes Deceptive Ad Suit Over Bullying

Yolo Technologies Inc. no longer faces claims its anonymous messaging apps were deceptively advertised as safe despite proliferating online bullying.

Judge Fred W. Slaughter of the US District Court for the Central District of California denied the plaintiffs’ motions for class certification and default judgment and declined to give the plaintiffs the opportunity to renew the motions for a third time.
