Amazon Cost Trademark Lawyer Clients, Defamation Suit Claims

Amazon.com Inc. is again being sued by a trademark attorney for defamation after the company allegedly told the lawyer’s clients that he had violated US patent and trademark rules and previously filed an invalid trademark with the US Patent and Trademark Office.

The attorney, Shan Zhu of Shan Zhu Law Group P.C., filed his suit in the US District Court for the Eastern District of New York on Monday, a little more than two weeks after Amazon settled a similar case with Nevada-based trademark attorney Nazly Aileen Bayramoglu of the Bayramoglu Law Offices LLC.
