A preliminary injunction should remain in place, barring the Idaho attorney general from enforcing a state law that makes it a crime to help underage people travel to get abortions without their parents’ consent, reproductive rights advocates told a Utah federal trial court.
The US District Court for the District of Idaho should reject Idaho Attorney General Raúl Labrador’s (R) motion to stay the injunction the court issued on Nov. 8, 2023, plaintiffs Lourdes Matsumoto, Northwest Abortion Access Fund, and Indigenous Idaho Alliance said in a filing Monday.
