Idaho should be allowed to enforce a law that makes it illegal for reproductive rights advocates to help teens get legal abortions in other states, the state Attorney General Raúl Labrador (R) told a federal judge.
Labrador asked Magistrate Judge Debora K. Grasham on Monday to temporarily lift an injunction against an “abortion trafficking” statute, so that it can be enforced during an appeal from her decision. Labrador told the court Nov. 22 that he is taking the case to the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
