Advance Auto, Neiman Marcus Settle Snowflake Data Breach Suits

Advance Auto Parts Inc. will pay $10 million and Neiman Marcus Group LLC will pay $3.5 million to settle allegations they negligently failed to protect consumers’ and employees’ sensitive information that was exposed in data breaches related to Snowflake Inc.'s cloud-storage platform.

Judge Brian Morris of the US District Court for the District of Montana gave final approval to the settlements in separate orders Thursday.
