Snowflake, AT&T, Ticketmaster Sued Over ‘Infostealer’ Breach (1)

Snowflake Inc. and its clients are facing a wave of litigation over an April data breach that reportedly exposed the personal information of millions of people, including customers of Ticketmaster LLC, AT&T Inc., and Advance Auto Parts Inc.

The lawsuits allege that Snowflake, a provider of cloud storage services and a holder of a nearly 20% market share in the data-hosting market, failed to implement basic and expected data-security measures, allowing hackers to steal data from at least 165 companies and organizations, including 560 million customer records from Ticketmaster alone.
