Accenture, Senior Manager End Sex Bias Suit Over Diversity Goals

Accenture LLP and a former employee ended his lawsuit alleging he was repeatedly denied promotions in favor of less qualified female employees to meet gender parity goals, federal court records show.

The US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois today dismissed ex-associate director Syed Raza’s April 14 suit. That came a day after Raza and Accenture filed a joint stipulation of dismissal. It’s unclear if the dismissal is the result of a settlement between the parties and counsel didn’t immediately respond to requests for details.
