Warner Bros. Sues the NBA After TV Rights Awarded to Rivals (2)

Turner Broadcasting System and Warner Bros. Discovery, Inc. sued the National Basketball Association for breach of contract, days after the league announced the end of a long-running broadcast partnership.

NBA entered into the agreements this month with Walt Disney Co., Comcast Corp., and Amazon.com Inc., ending a contract that for decades has allowed Turner, which is owned by Warner Bros., to air games and its “Inside the NBA” studio show that’s a favorite among basketball fans.
