Vroom Inc. and Sidekick Technology LLC agreed to end a lawsuit over patents covering online car-buying technology at issue in claims against Vroom’s platform, after a Federal Circuit remand in January cleared a path to settlement.
Senior Judge William J. Martini’s order issued Tuesday in the US District Court for the District of New Jersey granted the parties’ joint request to dismiss all claims and counterclaims under their settlement agreement. The deal bars both sides from renewing their claims.
