Vroom Asks Court to Rule Its Sites, Apps Don’t Infringe Patents

Vroom asked a federal court in New Jersey to rule that the features available on its websites and any corresponding mobile device applications don’t infringe 12 patents owned by closely held Sidekick Technology.

  • Vroom is seeking the court’s declaration that it is “free and clear” to sell the functionalities available on its sites and apps, and that those features don’t infringe the patents, according to complaint filed Thursday in federal court in Newark, New Jersey
