Trump Restates Claim Hayes’ Heirs Don’t Own ‘Hold On, I’m Coming’

President Donald Trump reiterated his claim in a reply filing that the heirs of famed soul singer Isaac Hayes failed to establish they own the copyright to “Hold On, I’m Coming,” the song they allege he and his campaign repeatedly infringed.

The reply comes four days after the Hayes heirs’ filed a bid for sancitons against Trump’s co-defendant Turning Point Action Inc., arguing it frivolously contested ownership of the song in the US District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
