Patent assertion firm TQ Delta LLC is appealing a series of rulings that limited its $11.1 million trial win against network infrastructure provider CommScope Holding Company Inc.
The non-practicing entity’s appeal to the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit was docketed Thursday, a week after TQ Delta appealed final judgment and several post-verdict rulings in the patent-infringement case. Those decisions came in the wake of a March 2023 jury verdict that found CommScope had infringed claims from six of seven TQ Delta patents but that two of the six claims were invalid.
