Therabody Widens Theragun Defense, Adding Infringement Suits (1)

Therabody Inc. expanded its courtroom fight to protect intellectual property for Theragun, a percussive massage device and its flagship product, filing a patent infringement lawsuit against T.J. Maxx’s corporate parent in Delaware and suing unauthorized Amazon resellers elsewhere over related trademarks and patents.

Therabody first sued TJX Cos. in February alleging T.J. Maxx and four manufacturing companies infringe its trademarks by conspiring to sell Theragun knockoffs. Like Wednesday’s complaint against TJX, that case was filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware.
