T.J. Maxx Accused of Selling Knockoff Theragun Massage Devices

The maker of the Theragun massager said that T.J. Maxx and four manufacturing companies infringed its trademarks by conspiring to sell knockoffs of the device, according to a complaint in Delaware federal court.

Therabody Inc. said T.J. Maxx, which is owned by The TJX Companies Inc., sold a massage device under the brand name “COBY.” However, the product’s name includes “Theragun Massager,” according to the complaint, which was filed Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware.
