Teladoc, Amwell Settle Patent Suit on Remote Health-Care Tech

Teladoc Health Inc. and American Well Corp. settled a patent-infringement lawsuit over technologies used in remote health care, a sector that vaulted to prominence during the stay-at-home phase of the Covid-19 pandemic, according to a filing Wednesday in Delaware federal court.

The companies agreed to drop all claims and counterclaims without prejudice, according to a stipulation of dismissal approved by Judge Maryellen Noreika in the US District Court for the District of Delaware.
