Taylor Swift pushed a federal judge to reject a Las Vegas performer’s bid to ban her “The Life of a Showgirl” album and merchandise while the artists’ trademark dispute continues.

Maren Wade’s motion for a preliminary injunction must be denied because she has misused Swift’s intellectual property to create a flood of Instagram and TikTok posts attempting to fabricate an association with the Grammy-winning pop star, according to an opposition filed Wednesday in the US District Court for the Central District of California.

Wade “cannot now claim confusion or harm over an association she tried to manufacture” in her lawsuit ...
