Snap, Zenly Unit Fail to Sway Judge to Toss Trade-Secret Claims

Snap Inc. and its Zenly Inc. unit must face a rival app-maker’s allegations they stole trade secrets when Zenly employees covertly signed up for a beta test of YouMap, a Delaware federal judge ruled in adopting a magistrate judge’s recommendation that he decline their bid to toss the claims.

Judge Colm F. Connolly previously found You Map Inc. had failed to plausibly allege Snap knew of the confidentiality agreements Zenly’s employees signed with You Map.
