AVA settled a lawsuit brought by Snap One LLC accusing the home product manufacturer of infringing five patents to create smart home remotes.
The parties resolved the dispute and executed a confidential settlement agreement, and asked the US District Court for the District of Utah to dismiss the claims against AVA with prejudice, according to a motion filed Dec. 24. The motion said Josh.ai Inc., a second defendant facing Snap One’s infringement claims, isn’t a party to the settlement.
