Shkreli Can’t Add Counterclaims Against Non-Plaintiff Rappers

Two Wu-Tang Clan rap group members can’t face counterclaims from convicted fund manager Martin Shkreli because they’re not plaintiffs in the trade secrets suit against him, a federal judge ruled.

Judge Pamela K. Chen ordered the removal of Robert “RZA” Diggs and Tarik “Cilvaringz” Azzourgarh as counter-defendants according to a docket entry Wednesday in the US District Court for the Eastern District of New York docket.

Investor group PleasrDAO sued Shkreli for making and keeping a copy of the one-of-a-kind Wu-Tang album it bought from the government for $4 million after criminal forfeiture of his assets.
