SharkNinja Operating LLC convinced an administrative tribunal to completely invalidate four Bissell Inc. patents covering mop-vacuum technology, including one subject to a US International Trade Commission probe against Tineco Intelligent Tech. Co.’s products.
The Patent Trial and Appeal Board fully invalidated four Bissell patents and partially invalidated a fifth, holding they were obvious due to or anticipated by previous inventions, according to five decisions issued Thursday.
