Bissell Seeks Ban on U.S. Imports of Tineco’s Rival Mop-Vacuums

Bissell Inc. filed complaints with a U.S. trade agency and in federal court seeking orders blocking imports and U.S. sales of a range of Tineco Intelligent Tech. Co.’s products that both mop and vacuum, alleging they infringe five patents related to Bissell’s competing CrossWave line of products.

In a complaint filed Wednesday at the U.S. International Trade Commission in Washington, Bissell said four products from Tineco’s iFloor line and four from its Floor One line of devices infringe five Bissell patents, all issued in 2021.
