SAP, Valtrus Drop Memory Systems Patent Dispute in Texas

SAP SE and Valtrus Innovations LTD told a Texas federal judge they’ve resolved a patent-infringement lawsuit concerning computer memory products.

The companies agreed to “settle, adjust and compromise all claims” in the dispute, according to a joint motion to dismiss, with prejudice, filed Tuesday in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. Each party will bear its own costs, they said.

Valtrus sued SAP in January 2024, alleging it infringed seven patents with its HANA, cloud integration, data services, and business network asset collaboration products.
