Samsung Electronics Co. and Neonode Smartphone LLC settled a patent dispute Friday, staving off trial over whether the phone-maker copied a Swedish inventor’s touchscreen invention.
The parties in a joint filing asked the US District Court for the Western District of Texas to stay all deadlines for 30 days while the agreement is completed. Neonode sued both Samsung and Apple Inc. in 2020 for infringing a pair of patents.
