Samsung Owes Netlist $118 Million in Memory Patent Dispute (1)

Samsung Electronics Co. owes Netlist Inc. $118 million for creating and selling infringing DRAM memory products to customers, including Google LLC, a Texas jury found Friday.

Samsung willfully infringed US Patent Nos. 7,619,912; 11,093,417 and 10,268,608, according to a verdict in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. It’s the latest development in a lengthy litigation history between the parties, including a disputed $303 million verdict.
