Redfin User Drops Suit Over Personal, Video Data Sent to Meta

A California resident dropped a video privacy lawsuit accusing Redfin Corp. of sharing real estate website users’ personal and viewing data with Meta Platforms Inc., Alphabet Inc. and other third parties.

Redfin subscriber Guillermo Mata filed a notice voluntarily dismissing the proposed class action without prejudice Wednesday in the US District Court for the Southern District of California.
