Railware Inc. and the Philadelphia region’s mass-transit authority finalized their settlement of a lawsuit over patented rail-worker safety technology, according to a federal court order.
The deal blocks both sides from renewing all claims and counterclaims, according to Judge John Milton Younge’s order issued Monday in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. It comes less than two weeks after Younge paused the case to allow the parties time to formalize the agreement.
