Qualcomm Hit With Another Patent Suit Over Snapdragon Processors

Polaris Innovations Ltd. added patent-infringement allegations against Qualcomm Inc. with a new lawsuit over Snapdragon and X Series processors a year after suing over the same technology.

The Qualcomm products infringe US Patent Nos. 7,715,264, 7,844,798 and 8,117,526, Polaris said in a complaint filed Nov. 14 in the US District Court for the Western District of Texas. Ireland-based Polaris said the processors, Cockpit and Ride automotive platforms, and IPQ Series products incorporate memory systems like its protected methods.
