Qualcomm Hit with Patent Suit Over Snapdragon, X Series Products

Polaris Innovations Ltd. accused Qualcomm Inc. of patent infringement for creating and selling its Snapdragon and X Series processors.

Qualcomm and its unit Qualcomm Technologies Inc. infringed US Patent Nos. 7,184,339; 7,499,371; 7,872,936; and 8,161,344, according to a complaint filed Tuesday in the US District Court for the Western District of Texas. Polaris said it notified Qualcomm about its infringement of four patents.
