Cardi B escaped a lawsuit accusing her song “Enough (Miami)” of copying one featured in the FX series “Reservation Dogs,” as a judge found the court lacks jurisdiction over the performer and her codefendants.
Judge Fernando Rodriguez Jr. dismissed the case Monday, without prejudice, leaving the door open to the case being refiled in another court.
“Even if personal jurisdiction existed, each of Plaintiff’s causes of action would be subject to dismissal for failing to state a claim upon which relief can be granted,” said the order.
