The Federal Circuit on Monday ordered a US Patent and Trademark Office tribunal to again review the validity of a Centripetal Networks LLC patent underlying a $113.6 million damages award against Palo Alto Networks Inc.
The Patent Trial and Appeal Board failed to explain part of a decision upholding US Patent No. 10,530,903 and must explain its finding, according to an opinion vacating the decision and remanding the case.
