Nvidia Nears Deal to Escape AI Video, Audio Patent Suit in Texas

Nvidia Corp. and the patent owner accusing it of infringement told a Texas federal judge they are resolving their dispute concerning audio-, visual-, and speech-enhancement software.

Nvidia and Arlington Technologies LLC requested a 45-day stay of deadlines to finalize their agreement and file dismissal papers, according to a joint motion filed Monday in the US District Court for the Western District of Texas.

Arlington sued Nvidia in October, alleging the chipmaker’s Maxine, Riva, Broadcast App, and ACE products infringed five patents.
