No Supreme Court Review for Polish Porn Site Infringement Suit

The U.S. Supreme Court declined to consider whether the Ninth Circuit erred in tossing a porn producer’s copyright and trademark infringement claims against a Polish website owner.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit had affirmed a lower court’s ruling finding that it didn’t have jurisdiction over Marcin Wanat, who hosted AMA Multimedia LLC’s “adult entertainment” videos for free on his website ePorner.com

AMA owns multiple websites where paying customers can view its videos, and it sued Wanat for posting its videos for free and without permission.
