San Antonio Spurs player Victor Wembanyama settled his lawsuit against an online retailer who allegedly used his name, image, and likeness without permission to sell merchandise bearing an “El Wemby” slogan.
Wembanyama moved to dismiss the case because he and James Glodich have resolved the false endorsement and violation of privacy claims, according to a filing Thursday in the US District Court for the Western District of Texas. Settlement details weren’t included in the notice of dismissal.
