Masimo Corp. agreed to drop its lawsuit accusing US Customs and Border Protection of unlawfully allowing Apple Watch imports that infringed patents for a blood-oxygen feature, after regulators cleared Apple’s redesigned devices.
The dismissal resolves all claims and counterclaims in the case, and closes the door on further litigation of them, according to the stipulation of dismissal filed Monday. Judge Ana C. Reyes of the US District Court for the District of Columbia formalized the dismissal in a minutes order the same day.
