A tattoo artist appealed a verdict that he gave LeBron James an implied license to include his tattoos as part of his image for Take-Two Interactive Software Inc.'s NBA 2K video game series.
Cleveland-based Jimmy Hayden will ask the US Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit to reverse an April verdict, which only reached one of Take-Two’s several defenses. The ruling took the jury just 90 minutes after a trial in the US District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.
