Lashify Wants to Block Competitor’s Artificial Eyelash Kit Sales

Lashify Inc. asked a Texas federal judge to permanently prohibit a Chinese company from selling more than 600 models of artificial lash extensions, arguing an injunction is necessary on top of the recent $30 million patent infringement jury verdict against the company.

Qingdao Lashbeauty Cosmetic Co., doing business as Worldbeauty, is selling 632 products that could be seen by the public as “interchangeable” with Lashify’s lash extension kits, according to a motion for permanent injunction filed Sept. 13 and made public Sept. 20 in the US District Court for the Western District of Texas.
