HP, Patent Owner Resolve Wireless Communications Tech Dispute

HP Inc. and a South Korea-based research company resolved patent infringement allegations concerning wireless communications technology used in laptops, mobile phones and appliances.

Judge Rodney Gilstrap granted dismissal of the claims and counterclaims among HP, Wilus Institute of Standards and Technology Inc., and licensing manager Sisvel International S.A., according to an order filed Tuesday in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
