HP Enterprise, Inspur Near Deal to End $200 Million Patent Suit

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co. and Inspur Group Co. asked a California federal court to pause a $200 million patent suit over servers and data-center software while they finalize a settlement.

HPE and Inspur, a Chinese cloud-computing company included on a US government threat list, will request the case’s dismissal by May 23 after finalizing their agreement, according to a filing March 24 in the US District Court for the Northern District of California.
