Hotel equipment-maker Winsford Co. voluntarily dismissed its trademark infringement lawsuit against IHS Global Alliance LLC and Mobiliti Pty. Ltd.
Winsford notified the US District Court for Central District of California it was dropping the suit, without prejudice, on Tuesday. The defendants hadn’t filed an answer or a motion for summary judgment, Winsford said.
The hotel equipment-maker sued IHS and Mobiliti in June, accusing them of infringing its trademarks for a “birdcage” luggage cart design.
Womble Bond Dickinson LLP represents Winsford.
The case is Winsford Co. v. IHS Global Alliance LLC, C.D. Cal., No. 5:25-cv-01618, notice filed 9/9/25.
