Guardant Health Inc. lost a bid to overturn an $83.4 million DNA-sequencing patent verdict and a federal judge ruled it must pay a 6% ongoing royalty to TwinStrand Biosciences Inc. and the University of Washington.
Judge Gregory B. Williams rejected Guardant’s bid to wipe out the jury’s infringement, willfulness, and damages findings or for a new trial. He denied the requests in an opinion and order issued Tuesday in the US District Court for the District of Delaware.
