GoTrax Wants Razor’s Hoverboard Patent Suit Thrown Out

GoLabs Inc. told a Texas federal judge Razor USA LLC’s lawsuit doesn’t state factual information on how its hoverboards allegedly infringed four patents.

GoLabs, doing business as GoTrax, argued the lawsuit doesn’t provide claim charts or explanations beyond the patents’ claim language, according to a motion to dismiss filed Wednesday in the US District Court for the Northern District of Texas. The company said there are problems with the asserted patents, including one which the US International Trade Commission ruled Razor surrendered.
