German film company Rat Pack Filmproduktion GmbH dropped its trademark-based lawsuit against Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. and Ratpac Entertainment LLC.
Rat Pack filed a notice of dismissal without prejudice Tuesday in the US District Court for the Central District of California. It had alleged the use of Ratpac infringed its trademark rights and constituted false designation of origin and unfair competition in the US, as well as false designation of origin in Austria, the Netherlands, and Denmark.
Counsel for both parties didn’t immediately respond to requests for comment.
