The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission should be allowed to proceed with its sex discrimination suit against several Georgia solid waste hauling companies for allegedly refusing to hire women drivers, a magistrate judge recommended to a federal court.
Although the applicable limitations period started to run on Oct. 27, 2018, Magistrate Judge J. Elizabeth McBath told the US District Court for the Northern District of Georgia Tuesday that the EEOC’s suit can reach further back in time because it alleged a pattern and practice of discrimination.
