Fortinet Settles Case Over Remote VPN Configuration Patent

Fortinet Inc. and VPN Technology Holdings LLC settled a patent-infringement lawsuit over technology that allows virtual private networks to be configured on remote computers, according to court filings.

The parties filed a joint motion for dismissal Tuesday in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, with the agreement barring both sides from renewing claims.
