DraftKings, NFL Request to Pause NFT Suit to Finalize Settlement

DraftKings Inc. and the National Football League Players Association asked a federal judge to pause a lawsuit over the betting platform’s defunct virtual trading card offering, signaling they are finalizing a settlement.

The parties asked Judge Analisa Torres to impose a 60-day stay on the suit until March 28 to give them time to reach a definitive settlement agreement, according to a letter filed Monday in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York. The stay would also apply to DraftKings’ pending motion to dismiss damages claims in the suit, the letter said.
