Dish Network Advances Piracy Lawsuit Against UK Server Company

Dish Network LLC can proceed with its copyright lawsuit against a UK-based internet content delivery service that it alleged helps piracy websites provide better illegal streams of TV channels.

US District Judge John F. Kness rejected a motion to dismiss from Datacamp Ltd., which provides distributed groups of servers that allow faster delivery of internet content.

Dish alleged in its complaint filed last year in the Northern District of Illinois that Datacamp has helped distribute its copyrighted TV channels to illegal streaming platforms like Banjo TV, Bollywood IPTV, Comstar TV, and others.
